Have a problem with the way you dump your grey waste just got the new Evidence and find the grey waste is released via a lever, ok for drive over but not serviced pitches, has anybody fitted a tap to the waste tank or found another way to get rid of your grey water, any thoughts on how I go about doing it myself or would it be better to have it done professionally, dealer could do it but can't get me in until later this year .

Hi, if you have a look on Pilote Motorhome Owners on facebook there are a few examples of the waste outlet being extended to the side of the van

This is how I did mine. Different model but I think the waste arrangement is the same . From memory I fitted a 40mm solvent weld elbow into the existing waste outlet , it had to be sanded to make it fit. I then reduced it to 32mm and routed it to the passenger side of the motorhome.

Patrick where did you get the clamps to secure the plastic pipe , I've fitted mine up in a similar fashion but used heavy duty cable ties but would have preferred something more substantial

Hi Neil , got them from Screwfix part no 5161v . Used threaded bar and rivnuts , there are quite a few suitable hexagonal holes.

Hi Patrick, what did you do with the pull lever , just been under ours and I can't see any of hexagonal holes you were talking about there is some holes with black rubber bungs in , did you use these , also where can I get the rivnuts from .

Hi, didn't do anything with the pull lever , it's still there and works as normal. The hexagonal holes will take the rivnuts and are in some of the cross members (including the one for the spare wheel holder) . I had the rivnuts from ebay , 8mm hexagonal ones

If you look at the second photo the threaded bay is threaded into a rivnut in one of them and you can see other hexagonal holes alongside.

Waste tank is towards the front. Don't you have any cross members under the van ? The holes are in those.

Hi Patrick, some photos of the underside , as you can see my waste tank is right near the exhaust box (1) and i can't route it to the passenger side due to having a skirt locker, photo (2) is a closer look ,if you have any suggestions i would be grateful.
