I am considering up plating my Fiat based m/h from 3650kg to just over 3900kg.Van Weight Engineering have confirmed this is just a paper exercise.I have both the standard manufacturers and an extended Fiat warranty.Knowing in the event of a claim they will try and wriggle out of it, what's everyone's thoughts on whether I seek clarification that cover won't be impacted or stay quiet and be prepared to have to argue using the fact the vehicle mechanicals are the same as others at or above the new weight (if they sufgest there has been more stress on the gearbox for example).Anyone managed to get confirmation? Warranty documents a little ambiguous

If it's just a paper exersize no one would be any the wiser know. Lots of us do far more extrem, things like fitting full air suspension never gave it a thought when getting it fitted.
