Antifreeze Liquid for Grey Water Tank

I will be travelling this Xmas hols to cold places and I was advised to ensure that my grey water tank does not freeze. What I was recommended is to use a special antifreeze liquid. Does it exist? Can it be purchased? Pls advise. Many thanks. M

No such thing, just leave the tap open and let it run into a bucket or something else suitable.

Just keep it empty ,and if it's cold empty it when you have let the hot water down the sink/ shower.

Vaguely, in the back of my mind, I beleive there is a substance called 'potable antifreeze' that you can put in your tank BUT it's far better to leave your tap open into a bucket that can be emptied even if frozen.

Sensors, Tap, straps, etc both inside and the way some people leave their taps open when driving away, outside!

I'll give you sensors, (but, for the length of time we're talking, the residue from Mrs Emmit's curry is probably stronger) , taps? Ours are plastic, straps? Ours are on the outside of the tank.

'yer pays yer money and takes yer choice', as I said originally, far better to just leave the tap open.

It won’t do any harm if the water freezes in the bucket just tip it out in a big block
