Always learning.
Did anyone see the London school going on walkout today? The tv peeps interviewed some teenager saying she wouldn’t go back to school until they took the Union Jack down,,,wtf is that all about?

That is really upsetting. Didn't see it. Any more information, please?

It was on the main news, they are objecting to a change in school uniform and some other banal ideas,,,apparantly, the school have agreed to take down the flag to appease them,,,,,, I couldn’t believe it,,I was spitting feathers ( and still am),what has this country become?

A country of division fueled by many causes, one were we are likely to see the end of the union.
Social, Political, and Financial discord, with deep regret my view is that a lid can be kept on the discontent for so long, printing money to make people feel valued, however in the end unrest will bubble over and social strife will ensue.

Most likely something to do with this

Theres actually a lot of dislike for that flag....with a lot of historical reasons.

I refuse to have one in my possesion or on my vehicles. I didnt buy a mini once because it was moulded in to the taillights.

So maybe the girl has her reasons.

The old confederate flag in the us is equally disliked.

When it comes to matters of minority rule and or wokery there is light at the end of the tunnel, but I fear it is the big bright headlight of the oncoming train which is thundering down the tracks at speed

And yet so many still cling on to a connection with the UK via the British Commonwealth.

Well that happens don't it
Half the uk wanted to stay in Europe , half didnt....same in Scotland theres currently around 50% want out the uk and 50% that want to stay .

Doesn't invalidate either sides views

But this thing with flags and statues is going to be an ongoing issue for years to come ... despite the rigged government report the other day stating there wasn't racism in the uk 🤣🤣

You make some very valid points there but collectively they remind me of the current crappy situations in France, Italy, Germany, US, Iraq, Spain, Turkey, India, Cyprus, Mexico, Russia, etc.

.......and I wouldn't wish to live in any of them.

There will be always be a number of significant geo-political-financial issues in every country but I'm just pleased to experience my own challenges in Britain and not one of the places mentioned above - which really are in the $hit.

All the best,

Andrew

And of the course the UnionJack has no reference toWales in it . Time to update it?

There is a whole industry involved in trying to resolve social issues. If they resolved or down played the issues they would be unemployed. Ergo...

The race problems are due to the mass immigration and the badly managed (not managed at all) integration policy, which has lead to different people in the same country. This all happened over 50 years ago and now we may never recover.
How sad that people who were born in England and lived here all of their lives believe the national flag is not for them.

🤣
🤣

1)Irrelevant comparison.
All Commonwealth countries are under no obligation to stay.

2) Rigged report?
You will have to qualify your comment.
To do so you will need to challenge the reputations of the individuals who made up the Commission.
I wait for your persuasive argument with an open mind!

No they are due to old white men and a skewed media.

The 2nd world war happened over 50 years ago too
Lest we forget

The usual empty bluster then!
No im just not getting in to a debate with a white Englishman over people in the UK's views of racism

Its pointless there are those who accept not is all well and those blinded by their inner well rooted views that because THEY dont see something it doesn't exsist.

Wales is represented by the St George Cross as constitutionally it ceased to exist, IE was part of England about two hundred years before the Union Flag was drawn

I looked it up ages ago to wind up ShiftZZ 👍🏻😂

There are definitely racial issues but nowhere near the levels being banded about.

Where your argument falls down is by grouping all BAME together when a split of individual ethnicities would be a more accurate comparison.
