Another forthcoming ( and very expensive!) Aire in Calpe (1 Viewer)

Regular snowbirds who visit/pass through/overwinter in Calpe (Costa Blanca North) will probably be aware that yet another new very large Aire site is being constructed there at present....between the Aldi store and the next road closer to the salt lake.

It's some way from completion yet - my guess is that it'll be another 3 months or more before it's open.

I've just seen a website which gives more details on the place, and also their proposed prices.......it looks to be very well appointed (a sort of "Super Aire"), but not really a "Full Service" campsite..... and thus looks very expensive compared to the other Aires already operating in Calpe!

We'll see in due course if they can sustain those proposed prices compared to the other 2 or three existing Aires, and the two full-service campsites already operating in the town.....

That is the large campsite between Lidl and CalpeMar campsite,there are 2 other aires opening as well.

Maybe they are setting their costs high so they can discount them for long stayers, just like the other campsites in town.

The name says that it's a campsite. It also says that a pitch includes two adults. They need to sort their pricing out.

The site we are on here is 11€ dropping to 9€ after 30 days,a lot cheaper than this new one.
