About four this afternoon, followed a 2010 registered Bessacar for about 2 miles down the B4100 into Banbury. Waste trap open - "water" spraying everywhere!

My car was picking up a lot of spray, and we weren't that close behind. Then the MoHo overtook a cyclist - poor bu99er.

Not the best advert for considerate motorhomers - I sincerely hope it was not a Funster.

times like that you wish you had a dash cam running.. then 'out' them on You tube.

Always the same if it was...one bad apple to spoil the cart!

Don't know who you were, yesterday travelling West on the A30 in Cornwall, one of those blank rears, BUT! with a Fun smiley.

YOU were definitely letting the side down my friend, whoever you were!!!

You were not leaking Grey water!!! Shame! Shame! on you sir for letting down the bad name of M/Homers:cry: My seconds will call in the morning!!!

The waste pipe of a vehicle must be sealed with a screw on cap before it leaves a site to go on the road.

In Morocco a couple of months ago we followed a French van out of the beach camping at Taghazoute and he had his grey water tap wide open.
There was a great deal of fist shaking and French invective directed his way when he overtook a number of his countrymen cycling to the market at Banana village.
What's French for schadenfreude?

Ah, come on. Being in Cornwall he would want everything sealed up tight to stop anything getting in :Laughing:

Mine is, black and grey.

I posted a similar thread last year, leaving windermere c&cc site behind a bessacar with its grey tank open, all the way into windermere i was sprayed, tried to drop back but kept catching up with him.
Front of my MH was sticky and smelly, needed a good clean.
There is no need for it as plenty of facilities on site to empty tank.

It worked with height barriers so why not............

opps - so there is an on / off valve on the grey waste pipe.

Seriously ??

I would rather have grey water coming out than windscreen wash sprayed all over me when I am on the bike.

Grey water is not exactly glowing in the dark with nuclear waste, but windscreen wash !!!! Jeeezzzz. And the amount of cars you see with mal-adjusted wash jets far outweighs the odd van who leaves a grey waste tap open

The one doesn't excuse the other though does it?

I understand c&cc are offering "day passes" now that allow use if the facilities for four hours. This includes showers, washing up and waste.

I have done that with my fresh water tank before.

You still get hand signals from other drivers.
