Am I right in thinking that as Andorra is not in the Schengen zone you could effectively spend 8 weeks in France then transit into Andorra and stay for 90 days which would reset clock then move into Spain and for a further 90 days before getting the boat home .
Or have I got this wrong šŸ˜‘

I've never been there and not an answer to your question but is there enough to keep you occupied for 3 months or is it best just to come home?

Not in the eu so check your insurance .
I'm not going so no need to ;)

Edit:
If I were to go just checked and my insurance does cover it, see below.

This insurance certificate provides evidence that motor insurance operates in the United Kingdom for the dates shown and this cover
extends to and include the compulsory insurance requirements of:
a) any member country of the European Union
b) Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia and Switzerland

No. Countries that are landlocked have to agree to schengen rules otherwise they have only one way out,by plane. San Marino vatican city ,Andorra, etc

Only been through Andorra once.
Only place of interest was Andorra La Ville..... And we only stayed there for Ā½hr before moving on.
Great driving roads thought.
What surprised me was they have a football team..... Where do they play, even cafƩ tables have two legs longer than the other two to keep it level.

From Wikipedia.

There is an agreement signed 2003 between France, Spain and Andorra on the movement and residence in Andorra of citizens of third States.[7] It says that the three countries shall coordinate their visa requirements (in reality that Andorra follows the Schengen visa requirements) and that Andorra accept entry only of those who have right of entry of Spain or France. Andorra is allowed to permit long stays for any person.

There is a lovely ā€œback doorā€œ entrance in Andora, know as the smuggles route/trail

That will occupy you for a while in a motorhome.

Yep know about it
A tarmac road on the Andorran side and as that finishes at the border and then a rough but passable track to the remote Spanish village of Tor
Alway fancied doing that in my 4x4 Sorento

You should. There is a very ā€strangeā€œ but lovely bar about two thirds along, if they are home. Veery very interesting place. Can stay outside it if wanting, and she likes you.

Apologies for the old thread resurrection, I wouldn't fancy 3 months there but if Andorra is not part of Schengen, then whats to stop someone towards the end of their 90 days having a ' free couple of weeks there as long as they left enough days to get back to the ferry/tunnel?

I was wondering if you get your passport stamped when you enter Andorra? If not it may be difficult to prove that's where you've been staying

We passed through mid-November 2021. No stamp. No passport check. Spanish Customs ask if you have punched alcohol or tobacco. Otherwise no hold Ups.
