Well that`s our 13th year & still loving it.
Anyone know the correct way to level a 6 wheel alko chassis.
Ours is an autotrail Arapaho and were advised not to level from the rear wheels using the front only.

Caravan since 1970, motorhome or RV since 1999 then back to a caravan in 2017.
Wedge type levelers work to raise the front but, unless you can find a way to raise both rear wheels on the same side by the same amount, only transfer the load and compress the raised suspension - not practical at all.

I went to the expense of fitting electric legs supplied by Towtal that have worked perfectly for many years and I am ALWAYS level. (Can also change a wheel without jacking, avoid tyre flat spots due to long term parking AND it is difficult to steal a motorhome when the drive wheels are off the ground!).

I understand that they now recommend an hydraulic system that does the same job.

While talking about AlKo suspension I remind all users that these axles require greasing with the weight off the wheels. easily done on mine by using the legs.::bigsmile:
