Hi.
Change of plan. Not coming to the UK now,but stopping over here. Would like the name/s of sites that match the above,we have been down there Aires/wild camping and even in flats, but non of the sites we saw or passed fit the bill. I know we must have been near/passed some super sites touring around, but some of the visits were to meet and spend time with the g/daughter who works down there. Thanks in advance.

Camping Alvor meets your criteria. 👍
Pingo Doce a couple of minutes round the corner from site, town centre 10 mins, beach 15 mins 😎 More bars and restaurants than you’ll ever need too.
……downside is…….I live there😳

Hi BreweryDave and DavidCh.
Thanks for those replies, they sound just the job. However,a problem has been pointed out by our daughter, the forgetfullness of Jennifer has worsened over the last nine months and she suggested that we go now to the UK. a sort of trip down memory lane........... as we have 5 weeks clear. The Algarve will be still warm enough this winter and its only 5 hours away and with the g/daughter living and working down there, somebody to chat to. Thanks again, will let you know the plan, take care.

I have never stayed here with the camper but I drive past most days and it certainly fits the bill if you want both beach and a major town
