So we arrive at this great little site on the Norfolk coast, Nelson's Patch, Walcott (recommend), no EHU so control panel set to gas all good for a toasty few nights as part of our valentine get away. The few mins later after filling up with water and the Alde 3010 control panel is completely blank, nothing. sWitch the 12v supply on and off considered checking fuses in the boiler but access is a nightmare in this Dethleffs Globetrotter so then decided do we make back for home or stay. We stayed and went for a walk along the coast. Will do some heavy oven cooking and that will be ok. Came back had a drink then all of a sudden we heard a click and and on came the heating. Control panel is on and heating up and running. Im not touching it yet at least until we get some hot water.

Any ideas as we was in out seats and hardly moving and on came the control panel.

Its booked into Alde for a fluid change next month so will get it checked then but am curious as to what's happened.

Not sure what time of day this happened or what you were doing but possible site power cut?

Update: its been off and on again since I posted this. And ive not touched a thing, barely moved.

Is this one of those cases where the remedy is to reset the Alde system by switching power off, then going under the seats to the heater, lifting up the cover to the terminals and unclipping the red lead. Count to ten then put it back. Then power up again. Or something like that.
