I haven't stayed at Amiens but I did stay at the very small Aire at Doullens (between Amiens and Arras). You can see details at http://amanavanandadog.com/2009/01/in-flanders-fields/

The Aire is off the main Amiens to Arras Road and is well sign-posted. It is easy to manouevre even an large RV into the spaces. There are rudimentary factilites (Water and sewage disposal only). Good walks nearby. I was there on a Saturday night and it was quiet (though the temperature was -15 ish).
