Hi we are off to France , Spain and Portugal in New Year, we are thinking of purchasing a Emovis Tags, for automatic Toll Payments, I understand we need 1x Tag for France and 1x Tag for Spain and Portugal
20 Euros for each Tag ( Refundable if we return them after use ) . Then 6 Euros per Annum per Tag, and, then 5 Euros per Month per Tag , and if you don't use them in any one Month you don't pay the Monthly Fees.
As our Motorhome is 4.4 Tonnes do we pay more tan a 3.5 Tonne vehicle ?
I would appreciate advice if someone has used this Company, or is there a better company/ or better way of Automatic payment. Thanks

I've got the same tags and it all works smoothly. Much less hassle than paying at the booths. The France tag also used to cover Italy but they no longer offer that. Getting a tag for Italy is a bit tricky now. I found a company but not living in Italy seemed to make it impossible to get one from them.

First year we have had tags (Emovis). One for France and one covers Spain/Portugal. Earlier this year we used both tags on numerous occasions. They do exactly what it says on the tin, no complaints. Weight of your vehicle puts you in a different class. Undoubtedly someone will come along and give you the advice you need.

Seem to remember you need a main land European address to get bipandgo. Emovis is the only way to get tags. I could of course dreamt this, I do have some strange dreams, just ask my wife lol

Reading this thread reminded me to got a Spanish tag so thanks for that.

I used an automatic toll system for Italy this summer. I used https://www.tolltickets.com/en/ Its a German company and it worked very well. They offer a solution for all the usual countries but I only purchased it for Italy.

They even offer the option to pick up and drop off the tag at Harbour Shipping, Stop24, Folkestone Services, Junction 11 M20. Minutes from Eurotunnel and open 24/7.

In the past I looked into a French Tag via emovis but aren’t there 2 classes only i.e. under 3500 kg plus a heavy and expensive class?

I am 4000 kg and rang the company who said they would sell me the standard package but I ran the risk of the barrier not opening if the measuring system thought I was too big.

I didn’t fancy the risk of blocking the auto lane with lorries coming up behind!

We are usually rated class 2 but very occasionally class 3 comes up.

Been using Tolltickets for the last 2yrs and it's worked well, It covers all classes of vehicles.

On the bipandgo page there is a link to follow for UK customers - which takes you to the emovis site.
