Hi
Just bought Ford Transit professional conversion - 2007 and 21k on clock. Have replaced both batteries and it is due for annual service next month. Has been well maintained but not driven often and in excellent condition. Happy with purchase. What do i have to do about habitation check - is this an annual thing?
Any other pointers please.
Thanks in advance

You'll get a few differing opinions on habitation checks, my personal opinion is that they're a tool which dealers use to charge us large amounts of money for dubious repairs.

However, I'd get your gas powered items checked regularly by someone who knows what they're doing.
I'd buy a decent quality damp meter & learn how to use it, the sense of satisfaction of being able to do things for yourself in enormous.

Same here, a habitation check is done (by us) every time the vehicle is used.

Just by using it.
