Adding pictures to a conversation

Can this be done please, I can't see the 'upload a file' button ?

Or is the only way to do it by putting it in media?

If I click the pic button (to the right of the smilie) it's asking for a url but I don't understand what that means.

Not when you are having a 'conversation/pm', upload a file is missing on my ipad but there for doing a post on the forum. Are you saying you can see it on yours? You can pm me to try if you like

It can be done there is a upload on the conversation I did it yesterday. Picture needs to be resized usually first.

I am on a I Pad.

Debs, there seem to be others having this problem on an ipad .. it isn't just you darlin'. I havn't done it so can't help but if I were you I would pm (conversation) Carol so that when you are both on line you can work through it together....

Debs it works for me on my ipad .. Haven't done the iOS 8 update yet though

Where you are typing at the bottom scroll down like norm and there is upload file...

You sure it isn't the HTC one phone lolol I still can't upload a file on here ..hope this helps

Even on a PC the only way I can add a picture to a conversation is by using the URL method, i.e. upload the image to a website like Flickr then link to it using the button with a mountain on it.

Debs, have sent you an example.

Yes David, I realise that, I have just sent her a photo on conversation. The snap shot was of the conversation post, confusing how some are different.
