AdBlue I have just been informed by someone that the AdBlue filler cap should be replaced with a vented cap. This is to prevent the pump from getting damaged. I have not seen many articles on this but the vented caps are on the market. Anyone herd of this and if so any recommendations on a vented cap

If it needed a vented cap, surely it would have been supplied with one :unsure: ?
Not necessarily. I expect there is a vent pipe to the tank as it would not work without it. If this gets blocked due to dirt etc then the pump will be under excessive pressure and fail. This is what the guy was told when his pump etc failed after 2 years. By the looks of it from what I have read it's a safe guard. I think I will change mine as it's only a few quid compared to a costly pump and injector change
