It's not occurred to me before, but I was thinking of using the ACSI Discount Card in the UK. Some fully featured campsite seem to be cheaper than some CLs/CSs. Has anybody experience of this, particularly with how the euro price is converted to sterling? On the continent we use a Halifax card for almost everything, and am always pleased with the exchange rate from Halifax. i would prefer to pay in euros by card but I would imagine that might be difficult.

Unfortunately I don't think you can pay in Euros in the UK but I agree it could work to your advantage but not always.

I suppose I was really wondering if there was an 'ACSI' exchange rate or whether you were at the mercy of the campsite.

No idea but probably at the mercy of the campsite. If you know you want to go might be worth phoning and asking them!

Not many campsites in UK give ACSI discount.
