@DBK

I believe that I have a rolling annual order in place but I can't for the life of me remember when it is likely to arrive. and we will need it soon.

It says if you ordered before today it will arrive by Christmas so I'm guessing you won't get it this month.

Edit: Vicarious are saying by 15 December but I suspect that was if ordered last month.

I find in today's "Digital" age that you cannot simply buy the ACSI Membership Card, the the App without that BIG book, that costs €8 just to post!! I am sure last years book is not so out of date. Never really used the book always the App last year.
What a waste of printing, paper, packing and post!!
Not really a green company !!
They should find a way of giving you the option.
Unless I am missing something on their website.

ACSI 2018 offer for Camping and Caravanning Club members - £12.99 with FREE UK delivery:

http://www.campingandcaravanningclu...lubMag&utm_medium=Print&utm_campaign=ACSI2018

Pre-order offer ends 30 November. Delivery mid-December.

Wow, that is worth knowing, it's complete with the international camping carnet too. ACSI also have a second cut down version to cover the more common holiday areas, but it's dearer than this.

Ordered mine direct from ACSI. Been told delivery by 15 December. We'll see!
In fairness, apart from last year when the payment card expired and I didn't amend the account, it's always arrived at least a week before Christmas.

Well, I've just ordered it online. Persist if the website doesn't seem to work without booking a holiday, it does work eventually. And it does apparently come with the camping carnet, which genuinely is worth £5.50 because that is the price if bought separately. You do have to be a member of course.

I had been wondering if club membership is worthwhile, since I rarely stay on club sites, and have found their motorhome insurance - the original reason for me joining - too expensive. But this is one benefit at least.

Would you be able to buy the 2018 edition in Portugal does anyone know? Mid-December delivery will be too late for us :)

.

Sorry, think you've misunderstood the site. With the books you get a membership card, allowing you to use the ACSI scheme. If you want/need the carnet which provides identity, insurance cover etc., then that's extra. The card with the books is NOT a carnet which has to be ordered separately.

You don't need the carnet to use ACSI sites but it is useful elsewhere, e.g. saves being asked to leave your passport. Carnets are available elsewhere of course.
