We tend to use the van shower a lot when travelling. I am trying to stop the water pulsing in phase with the water pump.

Fitting an accumulator will stop this, (i think).

There are a couple of sizes available here, https://www.force4.co.uk/jabsco-mini-accumulator-tank-0-6ltr.html?sqr=830291&

One is 0.6 litre and the other is 1 litre tank.

Anyone know which one is best to fit, and will it stop the water fading in and our with the pump!

Thanks

Having had a narrow boat and many a problem with the water pulsing with the pressure drop from the pump..we had a 1 litre tank fitted . Not long after we had it done..they became a package for all narrowboats. Now you buy the job lot as a unit.
I digress...the 0.6 litre will do fine. It will allow the pump to keep pressurising with out you noticing the drop of water pressure. The Larger tank is ok but a larger pump would be needed. The reason for that is that the tank / accumulator would need pressurising regularly so the pump would constantly kick in and out. Longer running times between refilling the tank etc.
You would be surprised how long a half litre tank/accumulator supplies water for?

When I fitted the water system on my boat the kit included an accumulator and I think it was a Jabsco, which I estimate from the dimensions would have been a 0.6lt. That worked fine.

Hi..an accumulator may well help , but also worth checking the adjustment screw on the head of the pump if its the shurflo type pump..
It's there to give a little scope to adjust the on off time of the pump.

I had same problem on a previous motorhome and solved it with a Fiamma A20 accumulator .. cheap and easy to fit.
