Just a moan; picked up our Hymer up from storage after 7 months of not being able to use it and one of the headlight indicators/daylight strips doesn't work. Potential delay for a replacement 4 months? How can that be right. The season will almost be over then, potential trips postponed, potential 3rd lock down on the horizon blimey we are hacked off. It's 2 year warranty also run out whilst in lock down so potentially a problem there. Only 7k miles on the clock. I wonder if my motorhome insurance would cover non use due to parts not being available (silly thought), what would we have done if we were a couple of months into an 8 week trip in Europe which we would normally be on now? Frustrated, bit too early to open a bottle of wine right now.

Personally I would carry on as normal but in daylight hours and taking extra care turning when indicator is required, but then I sometimes run close to the wind.
If pulled say you checked them before leaving home as you always do

You're not alone pandas . We've got the same problem. Ordered the part 3 weeks ago from Travelworld, who said delivery would be 6-8 weeks, but we're hoping it'll be no more than 10:cautious:.
Have a look in the Hymer Owners Group on Facebook. There's a lot of info about it on there, and a discount at TW if you're member of the group.
We've ordered 2 new looms, just in case.

In most towns there is an auto electrical specialist. Try them.
As previously mentioned I would use it and drive it in the daytime.
I drove home from Nottingham on Monday with a smart toad and forgot to put on the number plate. What you don’t know can’t hurt you.
