Abbeville traffic problems?

A friend said he had problems with diversions around Abbeville recently. We shall be heading that way on Friday. Has anyone found any issues with traffic problems/delays around the town?

We headed in there on Wednesday last week on a fuel hunt and got stuck round a few route barree signs but nothing too troublesome as I recall. ?

Do you need to go into Abbeville or are you just passing?

Just passing. Coming in on the A16 and heading south on the A28.

It was all clear last Wednesday when I travelled south.

Google Maps shows à couple of spots. Like a few other towns in the area they are digging up the main street, it must this year's civic theme. But the A16 looks clear as it is beyond the digging.
