LIFE MEMBER
Last week was one of mixed emotions for us, "Wandering Star" made her final departure from her usual resting place and headed off with new owners to a new home.
Over the five years we spent together she gave us some wonderful memories, and provided us the opportunity to meet many new friends!
It was sad (very) to see her go, but exciting and trepidatious (is that a word ) to be looking forward to a new direction.
After much consideration, discussion and investigation we decided that a PVC was the solution to our requirements, but after looking at everything at Malvern a year or two ago we came to the conclusion that in order for it to be right for us, we'd have to do it ourselves.
Discussion with our local mechanic narrowed the choice of doner vehicle down to a Sprinter, and as I drive the "2018" style for work and love it, we decided that a 2018 LWB was the one to look for...
Funnily enough, this afternoon a Stork passed overhead and dropped something from it's beak... We ran outside to find this on the drive (well OK, we went and picked it up from Barnsley)
Loads of work, we know, we've been researching and planning since we got back from Europe at the end of June! Will it look like a dog's dinner at the end - we hope not. Will we be asking everyone and anyone for their help and advice... Of course.
So I introduce you all to "Groot" - A New Direction.
Cheers
