Ordered these this morning after seeing a recommendation on another thread. A little light reading whilst I'm covid isolating in our summerhouse, my wife is paranoid and banished me from the house 😢
Not actually feeling too bad, a bit weary with a temperature on and off and a really stuffed up head, plus the loss of taste just from yesterday, but thankfully hardly any cough and more importantly no chest tightness. The vaccine seems to be doing its job👍 Another 7 days to go so hopefully I'll start to feel normal soon. Meanwhile I have a great view of the garden 🙂 Screenshot_20210704-080757.png

Enjoy your reading and best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.

For anyone that's interested this is the 'summerhouse'. (I'm not allowed to call it a shed 🙄)
I built it a the beginning of lockdown last year so that my teenage daughter would have somewhere the chill with her friends. Big comfy sofa long enough for me to sleep on, a huge TV and good wifi so I'm fairly happy in my isolation.

Running water?
Cooker?
Toilet?

So you aren't exclude fully from the house.

HaHa. I'm allowed to use the downstairs loo which my wife wont now use. My lunch was just delivered on a tray and left outside the door!
Have you had one or two jabs .

Both, the 'Indian' one in march and the second about six weeks ago. I have to say I'm glad I've had them as thankfully this is no worse than a mild dose of flu or a really bad cold.

Hope you’re through it soon.
We all had the virus in December before any vaccine and it was not nice but were lucky to avoid hospital .

Are you sure you're not in the doghouse eliciting sympathy on here after upsetting your Scottish wife re your earlier thread dissing Scotland?

I hope you took the alcohol into the summer house with you…purely medicinal of course…!
keep warm and watch lots of crap on the box, hopefully it’ll be over in a few days..

😁 I'm finding Ibuprofen and rose wine quite a cheerful mix👍
Watched 'The tomorrow war' on Amazon last night, actually kept me awake all evening. Currently watching James may in Japan, that's quite good too 👍
