2 weeks off work, just saying it brings music to my ears. I know a lot of you won’t relate to that, the relief is incredible.

Caz couldn’t get time off so I’ve come with Ted the dog for 5 nights, it’s beautiful here on the Yorkshire coast,stunnning views. To be honest I would enjoy it in a old shithole somewhere as long as the work phone isn’t constantly ringing.

Electric hook up, heated shower/toilet blocks, washing up areas, free heated indoor swimming pool, full facilities, bus comes straight to site into Scarborough and Filey.
Meeting brothers in Scarborough Tuesday to watch Yorkshire cricket we go every year, proud Yorkshiremen.

All for £9.80 a night, wow what a steal, just had a beautiful cliff top walk 2 minutes walk to the coastal paths, with Ted, back at the van now having a drink.

What is the name of the site/cl. If you would be so kind. I intend spending sometime in that part of the country next year.

It’s Blue Dolphin but you will only get the amazing deal at this time of year, as a Yorkshireman I shudder to think of the price in high season.
 
I've just come back from 2 days in Norfolk booked it Friday morning when I thought I could get away early didn't actually leave work till 6 and both to site at about half eight but it was fantastic waking up knowing I was spending the day walking with the mut and now sitting here deciding where to spend chrimble
 
Haven Caister for 3 adults, 1 child in August with dog wanted £80 per night.

I paid 22 quid a night for me and mutley I'm Mundesley near cromer but whi)st out walking I found a nice looking little CL that's opened up so will try that next time

Just booked haven blue dolphin filey four days next week £46
Edit, this is for all four days including electric and pass.
I know there are many who say they wouldn't go there if they paid them, but we like it. (y)

The big mistake most make when booking for the first time is booking hard standing services pitch, 90% of them are on a bad slope

Book a grass pitch, you still get electric and they are much flatter

That’s a fraction more expensive than I paid then, 6.4 metre van, grass pitch no utilities, not sure what no utilities means you still get EHU, fresh water tap about 5 seconds walk away.5 nights £49

I think if you have opted out of utilities you might not get electric.
Not gospel but it's how I read it.
My price above includes utilities it was £30 without.

This is without utilities but it includes electric I asked guy he said just plug in
 
We are booked into Marton Mere Blackpool for the week starting Sunday. £80 all in. Also, because we let them keep our payments when we went into lockdown we will receive a voucher for £50 to spend in the shop or restaurant. That's a win for us. :Grin: :Grin:
 
Just walked to Filey about 45 minutes along the cliff top
I must say though that if you have dogs or children you need to have them secure along the cliff top path, there are sheer drops to certain death in many areas along the way.
Just one example, the path is directly parallel to the top of the grassed bank, no fences or barriers.
There’s a couple of posters of people who are missing, last seen in the area, one young girl called Sarah, posters all over, 21 years old last seen in the area, if you were of that mind to harm yourself then you could so easily here, frightening to even think about it.

Beautiful walk though really enjoyed the views.

It’s the coast , they are cliffs , it’s not a theme park .

You’re correct but one yard to the side of the path and you’re finished, so you need to be careful, winds, dogs, children etc, if it was a theme park H&S would close it.
