OK the weather is changing, its getting a little bit colder.
How do you get warm quicker when driving your MH.....and stay warmer???
This really does work...try it.

When you start driving and you put the screen on demist with lots of fan power...
then turn your sun visors to a 90 degree ( right angle ) to the window...
when the warm air hits the visor it bounces back down and clears the screen
in double time....leave the visors in this position and you have lovely warm knees..
bonus!!!!...try it.

Hmmm only works if you have sun visors though .....:nerd::giggler:

Have to wait till I get back to UK to try mine, as never have even frost here in Sicily so cant try out yet but great tip, never thought about doing that even after nearly 50 years of suffering winters and frozen and misty screens :);)(y):xgrin::xThumb:

I shall be doing that this morning, my windscreens pure white! Though I have noticed , my new car does get warmer a lot quicker than my old jalopy . So let's hope it also defrosts quicker too.

Or flick the switch that turns on your overhead fans to blow the warm air back down to clear the screen!

Surely all van have these, don't they:xwink:

remember my old XR3I used to have a heated windscreen, whatever happened to them?

My little Ford motor car has a heated windscreen. (y)

The Transit based Chausson has a heated front screen.

Must put the fuses back in the 3 x inbuilt 350watt cabin pre-heaters in my car.

Warms the air in the heater system when the engine is started, before the heater gets warm.

And of course,i can always turn on the seat heaters too.

Luxury. :xThumb:

Also if there are two of you and ones of you is a bit yappy (she knows who she is :D :D ) then crack the front windows to let the expelled breath out.

my jag has a heated front windscreen. and heated seats. if I can afford to run it.

We've even been known to leave a candle burning in the outside netty to prevent the ice getting too thick in the toilet overnight. But that's only when we're flush !! :xrofl:

Has it got an ejector seat?:xThumb::whistle:

It's a Ford thing and has been for almost thirty years now, they also put them into Jaguar / Land Rover and Aston Martin since Ford owned them back in 1989.

No-one else uses the system because the patent doesn't expire for some time yet.

The big glass thing that stops all the draughts esp. at speed.

I've just tried this and couldn't see a thing, then I banged my head on the sharp edge of it so I think that it's downright dangerous! I'll stick to turning the aircon on:xrofl:
I've done that as well :swear2:yeh stick to the air con!:xThumb:
