A campervan burst into flames in West Auckland this afternoon.
The incident happened just before 4pm at Delta Ave, New Lynn.
A fire communications spokesman says two fire trucks were sent and the fire is "well involved".
No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
Eyewitness Davin Parsons-Piwari says he was sitting with friends on a park bench when they heard a loud bang and smoke billowed up two streets over.
He says they went to the scene where the campervan was still on fire in a residential driveway, but firefighters quickly put it out.
Parsons-Piwari says a bit of a crowd had gathered.
