Hi folks, been looking for a descent forum to join since I got my first camper and as this is the same format as my sea fishing forum and I seem to be able to find my way around I have just signed up and been busy having a right good nose around.

I bought my Talbot Express Autostratus at the end of the summer last year. It was built in 1991 and has done about 33k. It runs great and although the interior was in really good nick I wanted to freshen it up a bit so I got it re-upholstered and I am fair tricket with it. (or 'really happy with it') for any non-Doric speakers.

Haven't settled down with a significant other yet so I will be looking to get away with friends later in the year. I'm a big Aberdeen fan and the plan is to get away to follow the team in the Europa league trip in July/August depending if we get a favourable draw. Last year we were drawn against teams from Macedonia, Croatia and Kazakhstan so we are due a trip a bit closer to home this year!

Got a few questions already but I think that's more than enough for one day.

Thanks for reading.

Hi @monzer welcome to MotorhomeFun. I wished you had joined sooner, we are currently touring Scotland and I could have done with some sea fishing tips.

Where in this lovely country are you at the moment? It's boat fishing I do and usually leave from either Fraserburgh or Macduff harbours in the North East. I haven't been out this season yet but waiting on a call from the skipper to get the first trip booked. I've had some real nice Cod out at Fraserburgh.

Hi @monzer
:welcome4:

Great first post! Welcome form way down south in Essex.

Hi and welcome, you add many miles following your team in Europe but on the plus side you'll not be touring in winter as they'll be out before summer is past. :) :)

Ouch! (can't find the laughing smiley)

I see the forum joker has logged in... Hopefully we will get another half descent run this time around just praying for a fan friendly draw!

Welcome on board.... I see that you have reached your free 5 posts. If you join up it will be the best £15 you've ever spent (unless you stuck it on Leicester city to win.......)

If you followed my team in Europe you would need a sense of humour :), no doubt we will be out around the same time unless who ever our new manager is happens to be a miracle worker. You will find some groups you can join and one of them is football

Welcome Monzer, good luck in the Europa league, I'm hoping Man Utd will do my beloved West Ham a favour and win the FA Cup so we can join in!
Enjoy your travels
