Peugeot boxer drifte
Any advice on where to get a 3 way fridge with base cut out to sit on wheel arch. Recently bought a drifter on Peugeot base. It came with a brand new boxed fridge. Unfortunately doesn't fit as has no cut away.

I would think you would need a little platform/shelf to lift the base of the fridge above the height of the wheel arch.
Was there a fridge fitted previously?

Hi, yes its has a fridge fitted. It's an Electrolux pentan I think. The name Pentan was stamped into the rear cut away area.

How was the old one fitted? Assuming the new one is going back in the same space?

Our fridge is a wheel arch version 🤔 even though it's not on the wheel arch. Only the people at Elddis know why 🤔

My Dometic fridge is a RMS8401 the S means stepped cabinet (for a wheel arch). I expect Thetford also have a similar fridge available.
I would check around for the best price from companies like leisureshopdirect.com or leisurelines.net

Well you learn something everyday. Apologies, I didn't realise there was such a thing as a fridge to fit a wheelarch. 🤔

Darn expensive having now done some research. £950 -£1050!! Think will now repair the old and refit. Such a shame as the new one is ho so much nicer☹

Oh thanks. It was the only Mark on the fridge . Live and learn👍

Mark GT you should have no problem selling the wrong new one (it will be correct for someone) and then getting the correct new one, the spares for old fridges are not always easy to find, if at all, and may cost as much as the difference in price of the new one.
The classifieds on here should shift the wrong new one if you list the make and model .

I have one for sale.
I bought it when I was doing a van conversion but never used.
I don't know how to do this personal contact on here but if you may be interested then please get in touch somehow.
It would obviously have to be collected, I live half way between Gloucester and Hereford.
