3 way fridge -problem found ?

Thanks for all the advice on previous fridge problem ( Electrolux 212)but thought I would look into the problem of it not getting cold before going to the expense of a compressor one as I don't use the van much at moment .I found old thread on thermal paste and stripped the fridge fins/freezer plate off to find them completely dry -no sign of any paste ,I presume the paste is put between the fins before screwing together but does any go on freezer plate before sliding it back on?Have sent for 2 tubes of paste and will give it a go to see . Thanks all ...Chris.
 
I think it coats the back of the ali plate you have removed with plenty put on the area to line up with the Z of the cooling pipework that does all the work.
Thats what I did anyway and it made a big difference

Yes fridge and freezer are the same, order a couple of 30g tubes, put plenty on, and reassemble 👍
