3 on iPad (1 Viewer)

my wife has an iPad fitted with a 3 sim.

The problem is that mobile coverage seems very poor. A large proportion of the time " No service" is displayed on the screen.

Does anyone else have the same problem or get better reception with someone other than 3?

3 seems to be going downhill in some geographical areas.

I have a 3 sim (3G) in my phone and signal at home varies from nil to excellent throughout the day.
the data part of the sim still works when the signal strength is very poor but very slow.

3s coverage map shows me to be in a satifactory area...good signal strength, calls and data indoors and out.

we live in a black hole.. hardly any coverage from any provider..

and where is this you ask.. the far flung North, the middle of the moors.. on top of the mountains, Outer Hebridies .. ??

no.. in Suffolk.. piss poor phone coverage, piss poor broadband.. yet less than 100 miles from London.. it's like a third world . (ooops need to watch my PC) .. emerging nation , in fact many have a better service.

On the bright side we have been promised high speed broadband this year.. well, at least 3mg
