Reading the small print wherever you are, is one way of getting best value and filling your time with reading, if you have the time. Thank you Shiftzz

Been with 3 since 2008 on data only simm for my Mifi, phoned them last week to see what deals they had, seeing as you such a good customer you can have 40gig instead of 20 and reduction in the price to £15 per month instead of £23.45, bargain. Going to see if we can use it as our primary method indoors and dump Virgin.

I have a pay as you go scheme with EE.

For £10 a month, I get unlimited texts, 300 minutes of calls and 4gb of data.

This is as a result of quarterly 'boosts' giving me the option of more data or calls added to my current pack and every month after that.

In a recent phone call from EE's marketing dept, I was offered a new deal giving me 250mb of data for £9 a month.

Why would I want to do that when I currently get 4gb, I asked.

She tried to infer that the boosts can be taken away at any time despite my having emails saying that they will be added every month.

Can I have that in writing, I ask. No, she said.

Goodbye, said I.

As we have a MiFi in the van I just reduced my data, I'm with Plusnet which uses EE.
Paying £6 for 3 GB plus unlimited min & text.:)

The good lady has same plan however I've went with Smarty (3) with unlimited mins and texts and 3Gb of data for £7.50 However as I don't use the data (also have mifi) I get a £2.50 rebate every month so effectively £5 \ month.(y):)
