Can anyone recommend a 24" tv with an analog tuner, I don't need it to be a smart tv (cos I am not that smart), I don't use internet to get tv in my van as it is so hit and miss on getting wifi so I stick to the Sat dish that's on my roof and use a sky HD box , the tv is to replace one I have in the bedroom and it's too far/awkward to run HDMI so have to rely on RF signal and coax so need a tv with an analog tuner

Analogue Tuner?

Our Celo had an analogue tuner.. very hand to have the option

Will you get one with an analogue tuner these days?
You can get a non smart TV.

Proper analogue TV transmission has ceased in the UK.
That's what I was thinking. Unless the OP needs to tune into a device that has an analogue output maybe.

Thanks , we have a Cello that is 10 years old and given up the ghost so thought I would just replace rather than repair , but it seems we are in a digital world and analogue dumped, so my option now seems to do some re-wiring to motorhome

The very expensive Axtex 24" has analogue tuner.

My smart TV has a list of input options including analogue signal but it is a 230 volt TV. Maybe the 12 volters have the same options ?

Yes ,like I said in original post I need to connect to my sky hd box
Does it not have HDMI output? I never thought that Sky HD boxes had the old analgue outputs

Have just put in a Asda special £120 Poloroid 24" TV in the van. Yes. 240v but have a inverter
Slimline.
Smart but you don't have to connect to WiFi if not wanted.
And when tuning I see there is an option. For analogue or digital
2 hdmi ports and 2 USB.

I thought also sky HD went in via hdmi port.
But everyday a school day

Yes it has one HDMI output but that is used for the tv in the lounge area it has a RF and RF2 for connecting via coax
And are you connecting it to more than 1 tv at a time. You can't get HD through coax

I think you're asking the wrong question. The RF signal through the coax wire can be either analog or digital. It's not been analog for years, but TVs pick up the digital signal through the aerial, broadcast digitally from TV transmitter masts.

While I appreciate that the analog signal has been switched off , but the signal from the RF2 outlet on a Sky HD box is only analog hence the need for an analog tuner in the second tv to pick up the signal, and I appreciate that I won't get an HD picture on the second tv but that has not concerned me for the last 10 years
After much searching of tv's with an analog tuner without joy,I am now thinking of maybe running a HDMI cable to the bedroom as long as it doesn't need to be that long it gets signal drop, then I could put a HDMI signal splitter on the Sky box and be able to watch on both tv's

If it's too long you could use an HDMI LAN range extender, sends the signal through a Cat6 Ethernet cable. There's various brands, like this one: https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg08050/hdmi-over-cat5e/dp/AV18496
Many thanks for jogging a very old brain into action, I could just say great idea and thanks I will do it that way, but being too honest for my own good, I have to admit my brain tends to switch off occasionally:sleep:, I have this set up at home to get the signal from a Vu zero box to the bedroom tv , so I will now get down to ordering the bits (y)

But a sky say box only has analogue rf out when outputting the sat signal
Yes, it will pass digital of course but that is not a lot of good when trying to watch what is being received by the box
