Hi all. I have an issue with a couple of 240v power sockets in my Fiat Bessacarr E480. When I am plugged into shore power and plug something like a heater into the socket at the front of the van it works fine but after a couple of hours I have no power. The other sockets work and it looks like they are all on the same ring. Only one trip which is fine. Anybody have any ideas why this could be happening?

Faulty socket.
If it's only one socket and always the same one I would first look at that and it's wiring connections.
Could be getting hot and losing contact with the plug pins

Poor connection failing when it gets hot? Probably just needs tightened up.

Make sure you unplug electric hook-up before looking at power outlet.

Bit of an update. After checking every socket with a multi meter I noticed I had voltage at every socket so it must have been the neutral. Ran new cable to the first socket but still the same. I decided to remove the Sargent control unit and as I did the sockets became live. It turned out I have a dodgy connection at the rear of the unit. Pushed the connectors in to be sure and reinstalled everything. Hey presto, all working. Thanks to all who gave advice. 👍👍👍🍺
