Rally Chat 2024 Proposed Rallies & Meets - please post any ideas in planning with dates to help all (1 Viewer)

Know that many Funsters were disappointed to have to miss out on popular rallies due to date clashes this year so perhaps those planning events for next year could post their dates here to help minimise possible date clashes where possible?

To kick it off here's our first confirmed meet - Norden Farm 9 May for 7 nights departing 16 May 2024 (will add a thread shortly) to allow follow on to Newbury Warner's Show as camping starts there on the 16th.

Warner's Shows proposed dates for consideration (bear in mind that camping can start earlier & last longer e.g. Thursday-Monday when Show is Friday-Sunday)

Campervan Campout/ Ardingly 3rd to 5th May

Southern Motorhome & Campervan Show/ Newbury 17th to 19th May

National Motorhome & Campervan Show/ Newark 14th to 16th June

Norfolk Motorhome & Campervan Show/ Norwich 19th to 21st July

Western Motorhome & Campervan Show/ Malvern 16th to 18th August

South West Motorhome & Campervan Show/ Shepton Mallet 6th to 8th September

Motorhome & Campervan Season Finale/ Lincoln 27th to 29th September

Malvern Caravan and Motorhome Show/ Malvern 4th to 6th October

The list above is direct from Warner's marketing manager so would think that is all that is planned for next year.

Yes it's titled the "National " and I read somewhere that it would move to Newark so it looks like they've moved the date too.

Just spotted that Appletree have a couple of Shows listed now:
Stratford up to 5 nights camping from 24 April 2024 https://www.appletree-exhibitions.co.uk/stratford-upon-avon-motorhome-show.html
New one in Cornwall (near Wadebridge & bus stops outside) up to 5 nights camping from 26 June 2024 https://www.appletree-exhibitions.co.uk/cornwall.html
Currently works out at £20 per night but I have asked the organisers if any Fun discount is possible Will update here & post an additional thread if so.

Just heard back & sadly no Fun discount is possible next year There is a second Food & Drink Show at Stratford 14-16 June with camping from Monday 10th June to Wednesday 19th June so up to 9 nights, again at £20 per night & includes Race Day on Tuesday 18th June. This extra Stratford option will be on their website in a few weeks time but handy to know dates now.

Greetings from Woodside Field.

Our full events list for 2024 is still at planning stage, if you are interested in running a rally at Woodside Field, please get in touch ASAP so we can finalise the calendar.

It looks as though we will be hosting a rally mid April not Easter as in previous years, to be followed by a Craft & Chat Rally the following weekend. Keep an eye out for the dates from the various organisers, numbers will be restricted.

If you fail to make the April rally, two more Craft & Chats are being planned. gillian763 has just announced another date for your diary, 4th - 8th July 2024 July 2024 Craft & Chat.

And don't forget the popular rally run by Clivefog, confirmed for 11th - 16th July 2024. Anniversary Rally

Warners have just confirmed that Show dates have been finalised now & all here https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/shows

Just one Adventure Overland & Campervan Show at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse next year 14-15 September 2024 with camping possible from 12 September https://adventure-overland-show.com/ - no meet planned but another basic camping option at an event.

Appletree Exhibitions have changed their offering & now have added camping at Exeter in April https://www.appletree-exhibitions.co.uk/westpoint-exeter-april.html which may be helpful for anyone on their way down to Devon or Cornwall early in the season. See the headings at the top of that web page for links to their other Shows with camping - Stratford also in April, Cornwall in June & back to Exeter again in September.
UPDATE: No camping at Exeter in September now.
