hi, can anyone tell me please how to dim the interior light. apart from a lump hammer, cant find it in the hand book

I've never heard that you can - its only on for a minute.
You could change the bulb for something smaller

thanks. what the problem is, is that the courtesy light is fixed to the underside of the bed which lifts up to be the cab roof. it comes on when you unlock vehicle and wont go out for an hour or 2.somewhere i read that if you dim the interior lights it might cure. it.sounds iffy to me as well. i dont know anything about electrics so has anybody any ideas please.

You will need to tell us more about your motorhome. Who was the converter and what model it is. Given that you have a drop down cab bed I suspect you will have an A class motorhome. In that case the internal lights will have been fitted by the converter not Fiat. The underside of our A Class Hymer's bed has a courtesy light but it only stays on for 10 seconds or so. The rest of the internal lights do not dim on my model, but on other motorhomes they can be dimmed.

I don't have any knowledge of that converter. My best suggestion is to ask the dealer you bought it from.

Or, if you don't need the light at all, you could just disconnect it. You should be able to reach the back of it if you lift the mattress off the bed. Or, if it is a downlighter like the one I have, it may just be a case of pulling it out of the ceiling.

I had a similar problem on our Hymer B678DL where the courtesy light kept flashing on and Off I was I able to find a switch on the door so in the end got into the light and fitted a rocker switch to the live feed to switch it off😊
