I don't know for certain but based on my experience of other converters on Fiat chassis it will have the Fiat original system which I believe is to Thatcham cat 2 level. If it has more than this I assume it is an after market fitment and you would need to speak to dealer. Do you have just the Fiat remote/key fob or a second remote.

Thanks for this joka250. By coincidence I have also just received confirmation from Swift that it is as you say i.e. Fiat factory fitted immobiliser to Thatcham Cat 2 requirements plus a Sargent tracker to Thatcham Cat 6 standard.

Thanks for your response. I had forgotten that a number of British converters now use the Sargent tracker. Enjoy your new vehicle.

Suppose the problem with a factory fitted tracker is they fit them all in the same place.

Which is why you really need a sacrificial tracker, either that or move the factory fitted one. You could get a TK103 variant (£30-50), but i guess it all depends on the value you put on security.
There going to rip one out so you need a hidden one. personally i'd relocate the factory fitted one or ask the dealer to move it.
Its just my take on it of course(y)
