2013 Burstner Ixeo IT 740 0dr (1 Viewer)

Hi There, You good people helped me some years ago when I bought my Families Swift 630L on the 2004 Fiat 2.8 JTD Ducato chassis. I am now thinking of trading it in for a 2013 Burstner Ixeo IT 740 0dr, on the Fiat Ducato 2.3 Chassis with automatic transmission. Has any one any comments on this vehicle good or bad. Particularly the engine & Auto Gearbox ?.

Hello Mick,
We have a Burstner Solana T725 and can't fault the build quality.
I think we had a look at one similar to the one you quoted at Perth Caravans prior to buying ours. and was put off by the drop down bed as it created a very low headroom for me!! I have heard since that these centre drop down beds can be noisy when travelling.
The only surprise to us on ours was that it has a long overhang beyond the back axle and we have bottomed out on a couple of ferries.
Engine is very good but can't comment on the automatic as our is manual

We are on our second Burstner T660 in 5 years. Now looking for a newer Ixeo with a garage.
Engines brilliant but never had an auto gear box.
Buy it if the layout suits you.

Many thanks for replies so far. The one we are looking at has a drop down bed. My Wife and I look after our son. who is disabled (Cerebral Palsy plus physical problems) The bathroom in this vehicle is ideal as is the flat floor of the living area. We are looking for something similar but updated to our existing Swift Suntor 630L.

Our friends have an Ixeo with drop down bed. Good quality build and ticks all their boxes.
Main thing is will the layout suit you ?
