I have a 3 home WiFi that works on 240v converted to 12v would it be safe to use in van on battery power without a 12v regulator

you will need a regulated 12v supply as apparently the home router is very fussy and can easily be spiked by a voltage in excess of 12v. charging voltage can reach 14.5v

I’ve done the same with an EE 4G Home router. I’ve used a regulated 12v adaptor (used for TV’s) and it works a treat.
