ci carrioca
hi i have an ci carrioca 2007 & the 12v power transformer to fuse box is not working but via the isolator the 240v is inc the control panel
any suggestions please, why i have this problem ?

everything is working on 240v but when you turn on 12v isolator no power

the control panel lights up but is searching for 12v

What do you mean by 'isolator' and 'transformer'? A couple of photos might help.
Is your leisure battery charged up?

I would think your 12v leisure battery is flat you may have to replace it if its been left flat for a while

it does not have a leisure battery it all comes from a transformer built into the motor home taken from the main battery
( factory item )

What year and model of Carioca do you have?

694 reg 2007 as to body not sure

Is the leisure battery warm to touch?
Smell like eggs?
If so it's knackered and needs disconnecting asap .

If you put a multimeter across the leisure battery terminals and it reads over 12.5 v it's working fine if not on hook up .
Could also be a large fuse near leisure battery blown..

Not sure if it has a transformer... probably just a control unit..
Check all fuses and terminals are tight.

This sounds like an unusual arrangement, so you'll need to clarify it. When you say 'transformer' do you mean a box that takes a 240V AC mains input, and outputs about 12V DC (maybe 13.8V DC). This is usually called a Power Supply Unit (PSU). Are the 12V fuses in a separate fuse box?

If there's just a PSU and no leisure battery, the 12V items will only work when the 240V mains is connected. The 240V AC mains connection is usually called an Electric Hook Up (EHU).

there will be a leisure battery if not you need one
