I'm no auto electrician but I can fit an additional 12v socket. But.....
Before determining which fuse to pull I switched the 12v off at the panel, however half the lights went out and the other half and the 12v sockets stayed on. Is there any circumstance where this should happen?
I have a Victron inverter, lithium, solar set up.

Would it be a case, half is wired directly to your leisure battery?

Turning off 12 volts at the panel should switch it all 12 volts off I would have thought.
Has the wiring been tampered with ?

Yes that how it’s wired some lights are there for use before you switch on I think our roof light surround and awning lights do😊

Just bought this vehicle so don't know the history other than it has some fancy wiring that I haven't yet got my head around but I thought the 12v panel switch would cover every thing.

You will also find some 12v sockets are permanently live as well best to check with multi meter first🤔

Ah! However The under bed light, Mood lights, kitchen light, Main light and TV socket that I know of are live, the bathroom light goes out.

If its a schaudt system with a dt203 panel the 12v switch when off leaves the following working

Frost protection valve
Heater
Step
Aes/ compressor fridge
Awning light
Circuit 4

Above from schaudt instruction manual for dt203, i think dt 201 is similar.

But if you have another system disregard this post!

OK, but beginning to wonder what the panel on/off switch is for as most seem to be on.

Picture of system added.

Looking at manual for an ebl30 it seems there are 2 internal relays that distribute power as well as the power switch on the front.
Suggest you download the manual, page16 is the one you want.

Thanks. That diagram looks above my pay grade but I'll have a look through it tomorrow.

From your pictures someone has done a fair bit of changing and adding to your electrical system looks like good kit used?👍

They owned a marina and built boats so they would have known what they were doing. Maybe I'm on the wrong track, expecting the panel should switch the 12v off, as yours doesn't.

I suppose I just needed to find if this is a fault before I start adding sockets and muddy up the guarantee.

I don't know if you will know the answer to this but do you know if you happen to have a WA 121545 or Similar B2B Booster fitted to your EBL30?

There's a Victrom BMS which I'm told does the same, but don't quote me as I'm still finding my way around this bespoke system.

Thanks for reply.
It's a very nice setup you have there (y) (I have the same EasyPlus 12/1600 in my Motorhome and a couple of the MPPT 100/20s)
