Just as an aside--- was you on the M56 yesterday around 12.00?
An A class passed us at high speed with a IOM number plate

It’s not 12 volt but we used to use heat pads on popcorn warmers quite small low wattage

I bought 200mm wide 12v heating film from a German company a couple of years ago for our lithium battery, but I could not see that width on their website at present. You can cut it to whatever length you want.
I just use one of the cheap Chinese digital temperatures controllers to control the on/off temperature for the mat.

A Google search of " 12V Heating Film 20cm wide" brings up this UK based sellers.

I’m surprised a heat pad is required. How cold do you think the batteries will get? I assume they are inside your motorhome.

In an un-heater locker under our seating in the middle of winter, it gets below 5c when our van is not being used, and our Victron MPPT solar charge controllers shut off when it senses the battery at 5c and below.
Our heat mat kicks in at 7c to keep our lithium battery above 5c so the solar can keep the battery charged.
