12 month European breakdown insurance

Hi there,

I wonder if any of you out there have any experience of obtaining 12 month European breakdown insurance? I've come close a few times but the best I can find so far are these two options. One being extremely pricey, the other not providing enough days

Driver Guardian - maximum of 120 days in Europe £79.00

The AA £1748 - 365 days

Is the AA the only way to go? Or is it worth considering returning to the UK after 120 days and then hopping back over the channel to continue?

Are there options worth considering?

So would you get additional breakdown for when you're in non Schengen countries such as Croatia, Turkey etc? As we intend to use those places to reset our time allowed in Shengen

Arrival / RAC through the Camping & Caravanning Club. They always used to do up to 350 days continental cover (not sure since Brexit), any weight, any length.

I just paid £210 for me and Mrs mikebeaches to have breakdown cover on any vehicle we are driving. We have 2 cars + van.

Not much use to you now, but the next time you are renewing your insurance have a look at your options then.
Comfort can provide UK/EU breakdown cover for an additional £65, but it must be taken out at renewal stage (it can't be added later)
