Used this when we were travelling in the US with our UK motorhome. Worked fine for keeping battery charged, lights, charging phones and kit etc.
Interestingly, the only thing it didn't run was our microwave cooker - light went on and turntable turned but wouldn't heat up the food - I guess it is to do with the sine wave or something technical like that.
Plug into US hook up point (it comes with long lead) and then your normal mains lead into your van external mains point from the transformer.
I seem to remember it cost me £100+ from Seabridge but £30 plus carriage (it weighs a few kilos) would be fine.
