Hi Boris,

Yes volvo fl6 getting pretty rare now I was looking to swap for a newer scania but not sure yet. The trailer was a yatch trailer before been built from the ground up to what it is today.

I remember driving FL6's when they were fairly new, reasonably civilised but a bit gutless?? I would be itching to put something a bit pokier on the front but you re going to struggle a bit with seating. Something like a T142 would be my choice preferably with the 10 speed.

Hi jongood,

Yes the fl6 isn't the quickest but as you said it's finding something with the seats, 4x2 and low enough 5th wheel. I love the old scania stuff

Why does it need to be a 4x2, couldnt you move the 5th wheel back? which would also give you a bit of room to stretch the cab.

That's a good question I can't answer. It is tight with the fl6 but as you've said I could push the 5th wheel all way back. I would have to get a pretty low 6x2 to fit under the trailer though
