Sorry I know there’s umpteen threads on this but I’ve recently had the pump replaced and it pulses when water isn’t at full flow. I know this has been answered and there’s an adjusting screw somewhere but I can’t find it! Can anyone help please. Ta.

Update: It must have filled up again the pump switches on and off like mad 😡

The damper is the highest point though 🤔 air does dissolve into water of course otherwise fish couldn't breathe 🤔 so it must have been carried through to the taps molecule by molecule 🙄
If you have the space, get a small plumbed in vessel like the one used for those water heaters under the sink in domestic kitchens. To work properly, you need to pressurise it correctly. To do that you need to find out with a pressure meter your pump cut in, and cut out pressure. If it cuts in at 15psi, set the vessel at 17psi. If it cuts in to close to cut out, you need to fiddle with the screw on the pressure switch on the pump. You need 4-5psi difference between cut in and cut out.

Well here’s a thing. Went out for a couple of days over the weekend and the pump has stopped pulsing, the miracle of doing nowt and hoping it just goes away. Thanks again to those that tried to help. 🤞

I thought I would resurrect this thread as it answers a lot of adjustment questions. Can anyone suggest a reason for the shower pulsing is worse on hook up, than when it's not? (I see there's another thread where someone with a different make pump also noticed that).

On ehu the battery is being charged so system at a higher voltage, so pump will pump harder? Power is volts x amps.

Maybe, but the battery is fully charged anyway so there is no significant difference in the voltage.

Mine pulses on full flow, not only that the shower goes hot and cold while pulsing, what’s causing this?

I also find that the shower goes hot at times while on hook up but not noticably when not on hook up. It appears as though it sounds like the pump pauses briefly, which may be stopping the cold flow - that's the only thing I can think of anyway. I have started heating the water to the lower temperature setting to avoid scalding.

I think there could be. Fully charged and left for 30 mins will be 12.8V (less once pump starts), on charge could be 14.6V. 12.5% more power? Would be interesting if you checked voltages next time.

I can see the screw using a mirror, it's not easy to turn at the moment due to a heating pipe underneath it.:(
Does it stick out far enough to grab with pliers?

To maintain a continuous pressure, you will need a pressure vessel, fiamma do one litre and is enough to keep the flow on cold, while the pump pauses.

I tried using a screwdriver bit held with adjustable pliers but its not easy at the back of the locker. I'll have another go when I get home and can get into the locker.
