Mine are in a bottle of hand sanitizer. I must have a look see if they have survived! We keep ours in a jar of vodka/meths … after several years no activity and no eggs.
Janine which site is it?They truly are horrible beasties.
Thankfully my tick-magnet spaniel hasn't attracted any yet this year - mainly because we haven't been to one particular site in Cornwall.
Doubletrees at Par.Janine which site is it?
I live in Cornwall and my cocker spaniel runs free for many of her walks in the countryside and she has only ever picked up a tick on one occasion, when she was about a year old. She is nearly six now, and is checked over most evenings, plus being brushed and groomed three times a week as she works as a therapy dog in schools and residential homes.
I know a few people locally who say their dogs (usually spaniels) get covered in ticks, I guess my girl is not attractive to the nasty little beasties!
Is that the dog or the ticks!!We keep ours in a jar of vodka/meths … after several years no activity and no eggs.
