How are you guys doing so envious that we’re not still there stay safe
Fine thanks.
We were planning ongoing to the Nomad Festival in M'hamid this weekend but decided the 40 degrees forecast was too hot for us so we are now going north towards Meknes where the forecast says 41 at the weekend. Azrou looks favourite.
Auberge du lac near the Todra Gorge was superb with some real interesting travellers to chat to for a few days .

5010 feet up in the snow capped Atlas mountains and in need of tyres.
IMG-20230426-WA0001.jpg

Thankfully we were parked at a tyre garage in Midelt at the time . Two front tyres at a fair price, done in 45 minutes in perfect English.
No hassle, no haggling.

Staying in Azrou for a while. We've got a brilliant pitch , loads of comings and goings of all shapes and sizes, lovely 'cafe culture ' town, and lots of shade under the cherry and blackberry( actually they are white) trees.

Finally made it back to Spain.
Had two mechanical mishaps but luckily ( very for one of them) was on a nice campsite with a pool and restaurant. Both quickly/ cheaply sorted with the help of the campsites. Also two new tyres at a fair price

78 days of a no alcohol regime now over!

We've had no real hassle of anyone and some may be pleased( or not) to know we have not smuggled any dogs in. In fact if I never hear another barking dog I will rest happy.

Now we've got 82 Schengen days left to explore the Iberian peninsula

A pod of dolphins swam by on the ferry

Can you extend the 90 day Pass the Moroccans give you then?

Recent Gov travel advice - watch where you go on a jet ski!

Algerian border

The land border between Algeria-Morocco is closed. Don’t attempt to cross it.

Be aware that the border extends into the sea. If you are in a boat or hiring a jet ski, make sure you know where the maritime border is and remain clearly within Moroccan territorial waters. Check you have enough fuel to be able to return to shore. In August 2023, two tourists holidaying in Morocco who had allegedly strayed into Algerian waters on their jet skis were shot dead. The tourists had set off from the Moroccan tourist resort of Saidia.

Old thread, you may get more response on Morocco 24 thread.
I'm aware quite a few Funsters either in or on their way, including us although due problems with the M/H might not make it.

Yes you can, go for prolongation which gives you another 90 days and costs about 30 euros
Did you do this at a police station? Does crossing the border into Ceuta overnight give you a new 90 day visa?

I'll be honest it scares us a little bit, just not sure at all, even though i've read that loads of travellers love it, i've also read the very opposite from loads of travellers.

I see you've said "it helps to cross together"

May I ask why, I read that as "safety in no's"

I'm very interested tbh in how it goes for all of you and what things you all get up to so will be reading with interest.

Couple of questions, how long does the ferry take and an approx return cost for an 8.8 mtr motorhome

cheers

Al
280euros regardless of length
We feel safer here (even wild camping sometimes) than we do in Spain.
2nd time here for us.

We have been in Morocco since Jan5 now in Agadir.

We’re in Taghazout now. This is our 3rd day and it’s glorious. Going to move onto a campsite as we need to do a laundry.
Only downside is the surfs a bit too small.
Weather is fabulous!
