Definitely not petroleum jelly! Talc won't do a lot either.Hi any recommendations on window rubbers talc or petroleum jel
Best to do all the filters, air filter is easy, fuel filter, slightly more difficult, have a check for a Youtube video of the job being done by others. Pollen filter, depending on van model can be a PIA, as a lot has to be removed to get to it.Ok now got silicon wd lud windows all done rubbers all done doors window rubbers hinges now on to tyres pressures oil change filters full service read for next trip to Germany
Worked in rubber processor and they used talc as it stopped the rubber sticking to anything.Definitely not petroleum jelly! Talc won't do a lot either.
Silicone spray is ideal - as it is also for zips, click-click window stays, cab window and door seals, etc etc - in fact just about anything rubber or sliding. Goes on clear, dries and leaves no sticky residue. Fantastic stuff.
