without divulging too much obviously...

MoHos are not cheap so how do you finance this not insignificant expense?

Pension drawdown / loan / savings / incremental trade ups / inheritance sell the house / sell one the children / non vital organ / none of your business etc

I don’t see any lease deals out there, so popular with cars.

I’m waiting another month till I reach 65 so I can start my career as a lollipop man on a school crossing. Not sure how I’ll build up a reasonable pension though before I retire at 105.

My Dad - God bless him - died leaving the kids a nice lump sum each. He was an adventurer at heart and would of been made up that we spend his inheritance on something not needed or necessary but that would bring a lot of enjoyment and happiness . Told us to always build memories which we have done along side my sister and brother in law who also bought a motorhome

We have upgraded since using savings and love it:D

RIP Dad xxx

The first was a very cheap one , but then after several unfortunate gassings where I had a few rolex and bundles of cash stolen I was able to buy a much better and secure one :)

Cash - privately - and would never buy new
Never understand why people say they would never by new. Now we are older and have a bit of cash it's nice to buy new and the deprecation on the new vans we have bought has always been very low due to our savy buying.

On and off for many years.
Redundancy and compensation payout following an accident. Then upgraded using savings :)

We've been offered almost as much as we paid for it by the dealer who sold it to us and we've been running it for almost 3 years (from new).

Yes we did that in my bank - after the Manager asked all others to leave the room to ask questions to establish I was not an oldie under duress - (Laugh) I was only 67 and had been a lawyer at a City law firm:LOL:

Well it was in Eastbourne so maybe they are under orders - or duress
Had the same problem, most cash I ever had in my pocket.

First one on HP.

Subsequent ones by combination of savings and part exchange of old motorhome.
