I just wondered which was more cost effective to run a fridge on: gas (Propane), or electric hook up?

I'm sure someone out there has done a comparison.

Many thanks.

There was a thread about it a couple of years ago. At the averaged metered price in Spain it worked out about a ⅓ of the cost to run on gas if you have refillable bottles, might have been even cheaper using Spanish bottles.

Did the electric calculation include the campsit fees?

One can use gas on free aires and wildcamping.

It depends on what you are charged for the l'eccy. If there's no additional charge, use EHU. At home, where I'm paying for both (and use forecourt lpg), I use gas.
