Since 2011 (tugger for 20 before that)
we are currently in our van with the heating on and it has started gurgling furiously. I’m guessing there is air in the system. The header tank is a bit low. Can I buy the top up fluid? If so can anybody point me in the right direction please?

TIA
John

You can get it off Amazon, though it’s worth checking your handbook as there are a few different types.

It's all the same stuff.... VW antifreeze.....
Type G12+ or G13 (either one) available anywhere, just top it up with neat antifreeze or a 50/50 antifreeze/water mix.

Its gurgling because the header tank is low.
The circulator impeller is in the header tank and needs to be fully submerged.

It must be above min on the tank---- use any antifreeze suitable for ally engines------- I would use it neat but the book says it should be running at 50%----- if yours is a high tank in back of wardrobe for example----you can lift the top part off to pour fluid beside the pump----- with a bit of luck you will not need to bleed the system------- I didn't with ours!!!!
It does not hold much so be careful not to overfill.
